Under the agreements concluded between Cameroon and the member states of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) as well as with Switzerland, these countries have benefited from a visa exemption to stay in Cameroon.

  • the Central African Monetary Union, responsible for managing the CFA franc, the common currency of member countries;
  • the Central African Economic Union, which aims to harmonize regulations within member states in order to facilitate trade and the convergence of economic policies.
