How to get a Cameroon visa?

Validity of the Cameroon visa

Documents to provide for the Cameroon visa

Short stay visa
This type of visa is issued for a maximum stay of 180 days in Cameroon.. The validity of the visa is 6 months. You can choose between a single entry or multiple entry visa (this will be confirmed or not by the authorities). The applicant must provide: a duly completed form, a passport valid for 6 months after departure from Cameroon, a photocopy of the plane ticket, a hotel reservation or an accommodation certificate. THE vaccination record for yellow fever is also mandatory. If you have already traveled to the country, your old Cameroonian visa will be requested.
For business, you will also need to provide a mission order or letter of invitation.
Long stay visa
This type of visa is issued for a maximum stay of 180 days in Cameroon. The visa is valid for 12 months. You can choose between a single-entry or multiple-entry visa (this will be confirmed or not by the authorities). The applicant must provide the same documents as for the short-stay visa, plus: repatriation insurance and, depending on your situation (internship certificate, work contract in Cameroon, proof of parental or marital relationship with the host).
What are the steps to obtain the Cameroon eVisa?
Since April 30, 2023It is now possible to apply for a visa online, and you will receive a travel authorisation in electronic format, also known as pre-registration. Processing time is approximately one day. The visa must be presented when you board your flight.
