What is the price of the eVisa for Cameroon?

Do you want to take a trip to Cameroon to visit its many tourist sites or do business there? Be aware that you will need an electronic visa. Depending on the duration of the trip, the price of this document varies. It is therefore important to be well informed before embarking on this process. If this destination tempts you, here is the price of the visa for short, long stays and in case of transit.

What is the price of the short-stay eVisa for Cameroon?

The price of a Cameroonian visa varies depending on the length of your stay. Regardless of the reason for your trip, a price distinction is made between the short and long stay electronic visa.

Before talking about the price, it is also important to take note of the documents to provide for obtaining the visa. Here are the essentials to provide for a short-stay visa:

  • photocopy of your passport, valid for at least 6 months from your departure from Cameroon.
  • A copy of the booking confirmation for a round-trip flight between the travelers' country of origin and an airport in Cameroon. All documents must be nominative.

  • A hotel reservation for the planned duration of the stay or an accommodation certificate issued by the person agreeing to accommodate the visitor.

  • Proof of vaccination against yellow fever

  • Proof of address

  • Birth certificate or family record book

  • Your old Cameroonian visa (if you have already traveled to the country)

  • For Business : mission order, invitation letter

Visa fees are added to these documents. For a single entry as well as for a request for multiple entries, the fees amount to 167,00 €This does not include our brokerage fees. Note that this E-visa is valid for 6 months and allows you to stay in Cameroon for a maximum of 180 days.

How much does a long-stay eVisa cost?

We need to predict 250,00 € consular fees for a long-stay e-Visa to Cameroon. This visa is valid for one year. However, you will need to provide the same documents as for the short-stay visa, but also :

  • Insurance with repatriation
  • And depending on your situation (internship certificate, employment contract in Cameroon, proof of parental or marital affiliation with the host)

How much does a transit E-visa cost?

Please note that for a transit of less than 24 hours without leaving the airport you will not need a visa.

In other cases, if you need to apply for a transit E-visa in Cameroon, consular fees are free through the Cameroonian authorities.
