It is also these falls that inspired the film \u201c<em>The legend of Tarzan<\/em>\u201d in 1982. The falls are located on the Nkam river nicknamed \u201c<em>The wonderful river<\/em>\u201d. Not far from there, we find the Lob\u00e9 estuary, where the river flows into the sea through several waterfalls.<\/p>\n<h2>Korup National Park<\/h2>\n<p>A must-see in Cameroon, one of the oldest tropical forests in Africa. This open-air museum has no less than 620 species of trees and shrubs. Also a nature reserve, it is possible to observe several endemic species from Africa; birds, reptiles, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and even chimpanzees.<\/p>\n<h2>The Dja wildlife reserve<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>This extraordinary reserve is one of 75 UNESCO African Biosphere Reserves.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It is one of the wettest forests in Africa, teeming with rich and varied biodiversity. The Dja River which encircles this reserve provides good protection for it. You can find mammals, primates and birds there, including some species threatened with extinction.<\/p>\n<h2>Waza National Park<\/h2>\n<p>The most spectacular nature reserve in Cameroon, this park is essential for admiring the large mammals of Africa in their natural environment. In particular, we can observe the Big Five (big five) of Africa: lions, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos and elephants. It too is home to animal species, however different from the other parks above. It is possible to come across hippos, hyenas, panthers or even large antelopes.<\/p>\n<p>The city of Ngaound\u00e9r\u00e9 which can be translated as \u201c<em>navel mountain<\/em>\u201d is considered an obligatory passage between the northern and southern provinces.<\/p>\n<h2>Foumban<\/h2>\n<p>The nerve center of Cameroonian art, this city located northwest of Yaound\u00e9 is home to important pieces of the history of <strong>Bamoun<\/strong> (people of West Cameroon. Many cultural visits are to be made in this city. The Sultan&#039;s palace is certainly the most unmissable of them.<\/p>\n<h2>The National Park of <em>Campo Ma&#039;an<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>Bordering the Gulf of Guinea, and therefore the Atlantic Ocean, between mountains and valleys, this park is ideal for observing gorillas. It is advisable to visit it during the rainy season, for more luxuriant vegetation than during the dry season.<\/p>\n<h2>Douala<\/h2>\n<p>Doula is the economic capital of the country, it is also the largest port in Cameroon.
